Muslims do not go to Church. Muslims go to Mosques. Mosques serve the same purpose as Churches, e.g. a place to worship Allah (God).
Just like not all Christians go to church, not all Muslims go to mosque. Only devout, practicing Muslims go to mosque. Mosques are usually quiet places for Muslims to pray, contemplate their actions and ask God for forgiveness.
There is one compulsory afternoon on a Friday that all Muslim men must attend the mosque. On that afternoon all Muslims pray together in congregation and listen to a sermon delivered by a learned Teacher.
There is no set design, structure or method of decorating a mosque. It can be purpose built or a former-home, office, warehouse or any other building.
